岗位职责:


Reports To
DIRECTOR OF GLOBAL MARKETING
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:
To facilitate TESCOM's growth towards being the recognized global leader in providing precision - engineered pressure control devices This position will work with the Global Marketing staff to support new and existing product programs for the TESCOM Elk River based product lines.
MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
1.Market Research - Coordinates domestic and international market research activities to assure sales growth and profitability goals are met
·Defines and identifiea major market segments,estimates market sizes,andmeasures market participation on a routine basis.
·Analyses of competitive drganizations,practices,products,and pricing.Defines strategies to gain penetration from key competitors in targeted markets
·Defines key differentiators between TESCOM produces and processes versus key competitors and teams with the Market Communications group to effectively promote these differentiators.
·Teams with Sales staff to implementing appropriate market penetration strategies to grow the business
·Presents findings of research / analysis on a regular basis to internal customer groups as well as to external distributors and representatives.
2.Product Strategy - Defines specifications for New Product Development and strategies for managing the current product portfolio.
·New Product Portfolio - Identifies new product features,offering and other opportunities to meet business unit objectives and drive the TESCOM New Product Development(NPD)Funnel.Develops marketing requirement specifications for new products based on market research derived value propositions and develops the corresponding financial models and business case justification. Leads the creation of launch kits,sales collateral and sales tools to drive new product revenue and profitability and works with the Market Communications staff to ensure effective implementation.
·Existing Product Portfolio - Defines and implements pricing strategies to ensure that Gross Profit(GP)objectives are met.Analyzes GP contributions by product family identifying products not meeting minimum objectives and initiating improvements as required.Reviews competitive pricing on a regular basis assuring TESCON provides more perceived value to the customer base than key competitors.Facilitates review of products for pruning,obsolescence,and conolidation.
3. Market Strategy - Develops and maintains marketing database that includes data relative to all aspects of product sales(eg,customer,market,competition,applications,Distributor,Representative,etc.).Works with business leaders and regional sales staff to forecast product demands and identify market trends and shifts.
4. Market Communications - Works with the Engineering,Sales,and Market Communications groups to create,implement,and marketing collateral,promotions,application stories,and other programs.Attends national and regional trade shows.Works with Marketing Communications and Sales to identify trade shows,periodicals,seminaars,and other promotional activities that TESCOM should participate in.Facilitates development and publication of application stories on pressure controls in industry recognized teade journals on a regular basis.
5. Scientific Porblem Solving - Uses scientific problem solving tools for the execution of normal wlrk tasks.
6. Continuing Education - Preserves professional and technical competence by pursuing related continuing education.

职位要求:


QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENTRY:
·Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.Additional education in Marketing or and MBA is a plus.
·Five to seven years of relevant professional work experience in technical sales.marketing,or business development.
·Strong leadership,analytical,program management,proposal preparation,presentation(verbal/written),and
·Excellent customer interface skill with all levelas of customer accounts is required
·Ability to manage multiple and/or changing priorities is required
·Understanding of company products,their application,and an understanding of the fluid process industry is a plus.
·Ability to travel globally up to 15% is required.
·According to Government Regulations all enployees in this job classification must be a US Citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
